Hersonissos Train Company offers you an interesting tour within the Municipality of Hersonissos where you will have the opportunity to admire the natural beauty of Crete. With us, you will see the biggest Golf Camp in Greece and admire the view of the lake next to the new river Aposelemis, which supplies water to Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. You will be given the chance to walk through the narrow streets of the traditional villages of Avdou, Gonies and Potamies and admire our historical Byzantine churches.
You will also visit the indescribable beauty of the area of Ambellou where a special type of Vulture lives and cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Don’t hesitate to taste our traditional drink “Raki” and be sure that you have taken your camera in order to capture the nature’s beauty.
